Calling all Cyclospotive Warriors !
As the name might suggest the 1066 Cyclosportive travels around the lovely lanes of 1066 country, in and around where the Battle of Hastings was fought. Starting from Burgess Hill the route navigates the roads of the Lower Weald before reaching the town of Battle itself. Then via Ashdown Forest riders head North to Forest Row before turning back towards Burgess Hill. All Cyclosportive warriors on this event are required to battle with the steep gradient of the Infamous Climb of Cob Lane no matter what route they choose to go towards battle.
This cyclosportive has all the usual high standards that can be associated with a SRS Events cyclosportive.
